Roping is an art and you can achieve tremendous tricks with the rope.
I have made some GIF animations big size of the best tricks I can do. You'll be able to discover what dragon, skidow, warlock, backwash, inlaw, pump, kick, mexi, extended mexi, reverse inlaw, outlaw and combinations of tricks together as well look like. Just select a trick name in the dropdown menus on the right-hand column.
These animations have been made using the excellent video export feature from WA. If you have some cool replays and want to have your animation on nlF, let me know in the shoutbox.
This demo is a tribute to our first she nlF roper, Nestea, who did this sexy Drive-In to Ness. The Ness is normally a rope race move used for fast transitions down. Here it is done on a WxW map. Nestea doing a Ness, how ironic, isn't it? ;o) (12 comments)
Here is the first variation of Plunger : The Plunger to Touchdown. This is a groovy trick as it mixes two nlF Original Tricks. Very well executed (again!) by Statik. (9 comments)
It took me quite some time to get it right : Speed, timing and angles ! But here it is ! I'm pleased to give you the Extended Dreamer. It's a Dreamer with an Extended Drive-In. May the weeeeee powa be with you if you try it ;o) (5 comments)
After the Extended Drive-In, it was necessary to get the Extended Drive-Out. Here it is for you! The difference with Extended Drive-In is the starting point. You come from below, bounce on a side then on the other side and you do the shadow like taps. Go get it now !!! (3 comments)
Here it is, at last ! We've been thinking of this Extended Drive-In for months, but we didn't figure how to manage it. There you go : Bounce on a side then bounce on the opposite and then do the shadow like taps. Very well executed by StatiK. (7 comments)
Here is a funny bazooka trick. On a very thin walls (1-3 pix may be), it is possible to shoot through the wall. From the rope, it's a little harder as you need to synchronize perfectly the Bazooka Shot and the bounce on the wall. Statik did manage it right. Cool one. (6 comments)
Here is the first variation of Subzero, the Reverse Subzero. Like in the Reverse Sharkfin, in the Reverse Subzero, the landing point is behind the Inlaw start. It is rather easier to get than the Subzero as the inlaw fly could be far shorter and the reverse spike easier to control then. Good luck trying! (2 comments)
There has been a lot of creativity in the air lately ! I give you a new trick : The Subzero. It is an Inlaw start followed by a Reverse Spike. It is to Sharkfin what Skidow is to Dragon. Possible variations : Extended with an Extended Reverse Spike and Reverse, with a landing point backwards to the starting point. (8 comments)
And last but not least of this new trick set, the Almighty Leap. It is to the Leap-In what Overdrive is to the Drive-in. You start with a powerfull Inlaw to bounce on the wall with a Leap-in and you finish it by hanging back far down on the block. Praise the Lord, praise the Almighty to get it right !!! xD (12 comments)
This trick took me couple of hours of intense warmer to do it properly. But here it is : The Leap Of Faith. It is to Leap-in what Dreamer is for Drive-in. No need to tell this is hell hard to get as many parameters are needed : Speed, timing and release angle. In other word, you will need faith to get it right and sexy !!! (14 comments)
As Drive-in has its Drive-out, Leap-In has its Leap-Out !!! Instead of coming from above, you come from below to perform the bounce on the wall and go hang back straight without performing the shadow-like tap there is in D-Out. A little harder to get than Leap-In. Good luck trying it ;o) (3 comments)
I present you the Leap-In. Basically, it uses the same kind of bounce on the wall as the Drive-in except you go hang back straight under without performing the shadow-like tap. As usual, it looks easy, but it certainly needs a little practice to get it right! (3 comments)
